how do i play games with other people on xbox live?



i have just got my xbox live going and i would like to know how you get to play games with other people?

i am very confused? any info u can give me would be great!

    not all the games you buy can be played online. But for the ones you can e.g fifa, call of duty, halo, gears of war etc just sign into your xbox live account (must be gold membership, the one you have to pay for or you will not be able to play online) then load the game and choose xbox live online multiplayer from the menu.

    all the games which can be played online with other people will have the xbox live icon on the box.

    put the game in you wanna play make sure it has online multiplayer choose multiplyer then choose the online opition then thats it playing people online thats it easy peasy lemon squeezy

    You’ve got two options really:

    1. Add friends via email address or their gamertag – then you can see when they’re online and what they’re playing. This allows you to join them in the same game.

    2. Use the xbox live menu in one of the games you’re playing and search for a live game. There’s usually a function that lets you choose a quick game or a custom game.
